Who’s who in a workspace
There are 2 types of users that can belong to your workspace: Members and Guests.
Members
Members are individuals in your company or organisation who use Springboards to work on projects or tasks.
Members can also be made Admins of a workspace. Admins have additional permissions to manage workspace settings, delete a workspace, and manage other users. Every workspace must have at least one Admin.

Member Limits
Our Free and Pro plans only support 1 member per workspace. These are intended for individuals or freelancers who work by themselves.
If you have other individuals in your organisation who need to use Springboards consider upgrading to our Team or Enterprise plans. On the Team plan, you’ll pay for each member that’s added to the workspace.
Guests
Guests are individuals external to your company or organisation who you invite into your workspace on a session-by-session basis. For example, guests could be:
- Clients who you want to provide feedback on your work.
- Contractors or interns who are working with you temporarily.

Guest limits
Unlike members, guests are free to invite to your workspace as long as you stay within your plan’s guest limit. If your workspace is above this limit, you will be prevented from adding any additional guests until you either remove remove existing guests so you’re below your limit, upgrade to a plan with a higher limit, or work with our sales team.
Guests vs. members
Guests share many capabilities with members, except:
- They can't adjust workspace settings or billing information.
- They can't add new members to your workspace.
- They cannot create or manage sessions.
- They cannot use the chat, boards, pins, or profile panels within a session (even if they aren an editor).

- Go to the Members tab.
- Select Invite Members and type the email address of the person you want to add.
