Springboards is built for collaboration. Our permission levels ensure that your collaborators access your content exactly the way you want them to.

What is shared

When you share a session with another user, only the data in the following panels are shared:

  • Canvas
  • Comments

The remaining panels remain private to you. Every user in a session gets their own private versions of:

  • Chat
  • Boards
  • Pins
  • Profile

How to share

  1. Go to a session
  2. Press the Share button at the top of any session.
  3. Enter the email address of the person you want to add.
  4. Select their permission level from dropdown, then press Invite.
  5. They'll receive an email with a link to sign in and view the session
⚠️ Note: If you share with someone who is not already a member of your workspace, they will be invited as a Guest to your workspace (and will need a Springboards account). Springboards does not have ‘public’ links that can be shared to users without an account.

Permission levels

Collaborators on a session can be given different permission levels depending on how you want them to interact with the shared content on the Canvas or Comments panels.

The table below shows the permissions available at each level.
